Your Daily Responsibilities

  • Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, welding, or installation

  • Use tools such as saws, pipe threaders, torches, benders, and welders safely and efficiently

  • Plan and execute work according to specifications and direction from supervisors

  • Support plant construction activities including concrete placement, site work, formwork, and building installation

  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring a clean and safe work area at all times

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Basic understanding of pipe systems, joints, and fittings (push joint, MJ, TR-Flex, restrained, and flanged)

  • Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and restraint joint charts

  • Comfortable using hand and power tools, including torque wrenches and welding equipment

  • Ability to perform construction math, measure accurately, and calculate slopes

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Knowledge of safe work practices and hazard identification

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs

  • Ability to climb in and out of trenches or structures

  • Ability to distinguish normal jobsite sounds (backup alarms, voices, equipment)

  • Required PPE: hard hat, hearing and eye protection, high-visibility apparel

Training & Experience

  • 1+ year of pipefitting or plant construction experience preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and commitment to learning

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

How You’ll Measure Success

  • You show up on time, prepared, and ready to work every day

  • You continuously improve your skills and knowledge

  • You step in to help without being asked

  • You build a reputation for being safe, dependable, and hardworking
