Position Summary?
The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the successful planning and execution of civil construction projects. This position bridges communication between field teams and office staff, ensuring all administrative, scheduling, and compliance activities run smoothly. You’ll help drive project efficiency and keep operations aligned and on track.?
Key Responsibilities?
Assist Project Managers in coordinating schedules, deliverables, and project timelines?
Track project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and delivery schedules?
Support subcontractor and vendor coordination to ensure timely project milestones?
Maintain organized records for permits, drawings, safety documentation, and compliance logs?
Schedule internal and external project meetings, prepare agendas, and compile reports?
Assist with cost tracking, coding, and invoice support using project accounting systems?
Aid in procurement processes and contract administration?
Support jobsite closeout including document collection and punch list follow-up?
Qualifications?
2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in construction or civil engineering?
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)?
Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar project management tools preferred?
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail?
Strong written and verbal communication abilities?
Familiarity with DOT standards, site work, or utility projects is a plus?
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred?
